Description
48 High Street in Gatehouse of Fleet is a pair of early 19th century terraced cottages, each two stories high. The ground floor features four bays, while the first floor has three bays. The cottages have harled walling, a smooth basecourse, and polished raised margins.
There are paired central doorways with panelled doors and a fanlight, which are flanked by four-pane sash and case windows. On the first floor, there are three sash and case windows with two-pane plate glass.
The cottages have slate roofs, with skews and a coped end stack on the right side.
