84-92 West Bow, Edinburgh

84-92 West Bow is a four-storey, two-bay bowed tenement block built in 1863. The building features a shop on the ground floor and is stepped to follow the slope of the street. It is constructed of cream coursed ashlar, which has been painted at the ground level. The ground floor has a moulded cornice, and the doors and windows have stop-chamfered margins.

To the outer left, there is a two-leaf timber panelled door leading to the flats, while the shop has a two-leaf timber panelled door with a letter-box fanlight, flanked by windows that have modern glazing. The upper floors exhibit regular fenestration. The attic includes a modern dormer with a curved wrought-iron balcony.

The windows are timber sash and case with four-pane glazing. The building has a bowed slated mansard roof, which is modern, and features a modern roof terrace with a glazed gazebo.
