Description

David Bryce, 1839. 4-storey 3-bay tenement with shops to ground floor, stepped to slope of street. Cream coursed ashlar (painted to ground); random rubble to rear. Consoled cornice to ground floor. Windows in raised surrounds; pedimented dormers breaking eaves. Panelled door (to close) to outer left; timber panelled door with plate glass fanlight in 2nd bay from left; 2-leaf timber panelled door to shop to right flanked by windows. Earlier 2-storey 6-bay rubble building at right angles to rear, with slated roof and corniced end stack.

12-pane glazing in timber sash and case windows. Graded grey slates. Crowstepped skews. Corniced ridge stacks with circular cans.
