Description

  1. 3-storey, 9-bay rectangular-plan plain classical tenement block; piended single storey wing to outer left with balustrade. Polished sandstone ashlar; painted facade at ground to 4 bays to outer right. Base course; 1st floor cill course; cornice; blocking course; stop-chamfered, architraved surrounds to windows.

NE (ENTRANCE) ELEVATION: central architraved doorpiece; timber door; fanlight; flanked by 2 single windows; flanked by identical doorpieces; 2 single windows to outer left and right at ground. Regular fenestration to upper storeys. Single window to single storey wing.

Predominantly 6-pane timber sash and case windows; replacement fenestration at 2nd storey to 5 bays to outer right. Grey slate roof; rendered coped stacks ; circular cans.

INTERIOR: not seen 1997.

BOUNDARY WALLS, GATES AND RAILINGS: low, coped boundary walls to street; gates to entrance pathways; sections of original railings.
