Description

4-6 Edinburgh Road is a pair of 19th-century, two-storey and attic dwelling houses with five bays. The exterior is made of painted rubble with painted margins.

On the north (principal) elevation, there are two panelled doors and three windows alternated at the ground floor. The first floor features a single window in the second, fourth, and fifth bays from the left. Canted dormers are present in the second and fifth bays from the left.

The east elevation is an adjoining building, while the south elevation was not visible in 2000. The west elevation is also an adjoining building.

The houses have two-pane sash and case timber windows, with modern glazing in the dormers and the ground floor windows flanking the first door from the left. The roof is slate with straight skews.
