The Provost's Lamp at 17 York Road in Edinburgh is an ornate cast-iron street lamp. It is painted turquoise and gilded, featuring a fluted concave curved base adorned with guilloche and acanthus leaf mouldings. The lamp includes a cross bar and a glass lantern, topped with a cast-iron representation of the Edinburgh City Arms.
