Description

Juniper Cottage is a small single-storey cottage built around 1830, featuring a late Georgian style. The façade has two windows and a central doorpiece, which is pilastered in Roman Doric style with Grecian profiles. The original door is deeply recessed, and the building has coursers with ashlar dressings. The roof is gabled and slated, with straight skews and large twin bow dormers that have later straight sash windows. The original ashlar end stacks remain intact. At the rear, there is a single-storey addition that has been raised to two storeys, featuring stone gablet dormer heads. The windows have been reglazed with plate glass sashes.
