Description
West Cottage is a late Georgian building that features a roughcast exterior and is designed in an L-plan structure, originally consisting of three cottages. The building is two stories tall with a four-window front. It has a slate roof adorned with ridge cresting and rendered chimney stacks at both ends. The windows have segmental heads, with most being 12-pane sashes, along with one larger small pane window and French windows on the left side. To the right, there are ramped buttresses. The entrance is off-centre and consists of a five-panel door with glazing, framed by a reeded pilaster doorcase.
The end walls are plain, and there is a later extension that is set back to the right. The interior has been modernized.
