Description
The Jolly Brewer is a building featuring a three-window front made of pebbledash, with one and two-storey extensions set back on either side. It has a later lean-to porch at the center and an adjoining veranda. The roofs are hipped and covered with slate, complete with ridge cresting and pebbledash chimney stacks. The sash windows, mostly 12-pane and some horned, have architraves. To the left of the porch, there is a splayed bay with a dentil cornice. The altered veranda on the right is supported by cast iron columns with thin foliage spandrels.
The left end has a splayed bay, and there are smaller 12-pane sash windows at the rear, along with a cross range to the right. A modern single-storey extension to the right is not considered of special interest.
