Description

Originally 1815 (dated) simple 2-storey Georgian house,

coursed rubble with quoin ends and raised margins,

low-pitched piended roof; remodelled circa 1850 with broad

boldly projecting ashlar canted bay on left, stone gablet

dormer heads with diamonds in tympana, plain-pilastered

porch in re-entrant angle; twin pyramid roofed additions

to rear; circular armorial panel in gable to Baberton

Avenue, garden gate has antique-looking corbels built in.

Formerly had single-storey eastern wing, since demolished.
