Description
Ardlamont House, built around 1820, is a Georgian-style building featuring two storeys and a basement, with a harled exterior. The roof is piended and slated, complemented by a blocking course and cornice. The corners of the house are adorned with pilasters, and there is a pilastered vestibule that is accessed by a stair. At the rear, there is a piended projecting bay with a high round-arched door. The wings, which are the remaining parts of an earlier house, are low and also two storeys high, featuring skew-gabled roofs and scrolled skew-putts. The front has a false extra storey that is crenellated, along with various additions.
