15 Spittal Street, 13A, Edinburgh

15 Spittal Street is a tenement block built around 1850, featuring four stories and eleven bays. The building is constructed from droved ashlar with polished dressings, although the ground floor on the left has been painted. There is a dividing band between the ground and first floors, cill courses on the first and third floors, an eaves cornice, and a blocking course. The second floor has projecting cills. The facade is regularly fenestrated, with a modern door and glazing on the left side. The flats have timber panelled doors with plate glass fanlights in the fourth and eighth bays from the right, and there is a modern glazed door with an access ramp in the seventh bay from the right.

The ground floor features modern glazing, while the upper floors predominantly have 12-pane and plate glass in timber sash and case windows. The roof is covered with grey slates, and there are corniced rendered stacks with circular cans.
