Description
South Lodge at Millburn Tower is an early 19th-century building constructed from stugged and squared, coursed honey-coloured sandstone. The lodge has a circular plan and is connected to a lower circular room by a flat-roofed, rendered link-block. There is a modern cottage to the west of the lodge. The building features overhanging eaves and modern plate glass picture windows. It is topped with a conical grey slate roof that has a circular stack at the apex and a modern lower ridge stack.
The gatepiers are made of stugged stone with chamfered and droved edges, featuring a square impost block topped with a sculpted acorn finial. Surrounding the property is a random rubble wall with a semi-circular coping.
