West Lodge, Auchincruive

West Lodge at Auchincruive is an earlier 19th century single-storey lodge with later additions. It has a rectangular plan and features coursed sandstone ashlar construction, including a base course, projecting cills, an eaves cornice, and an eaves blocking course.

The entrance elevation is symmetrical, with the entrance bay slightly advanced to the center. It has a two-leaf panelled timber door topped by a decorative fanlight set in a round arch with impost detail. There is a window in each of the flanking bays.

On the north elevation, there is a window in the center, with a modern flat-roofed harled addition adjoining to the outer right. The west elevation is obscured by this modern addition. The south elevation also has a window in the center, with another modern flat-roofed harled addition adjoining to the outer left.

The lodge predominantly features 12-pane timber sash and case windows. It has a piended grey slate roof with lead ridges and a harled coped ridge stack with circular cans. The rainwater goods are made of cast iron.

The interior was not seen in 1999. The property is enclosed by coped sandstone boundary walls to the north.
