Gogar Stables, Millburn Policies, Gogar Station Road

Gogar Stables, located on Millburn Policies at Gogar Station Road, is an earlier 19th-century single-storey carriage block that was part of a former U-plan stable complex, although the northeast and northwest ranges have been replaced by modern bungalows. The building is constructed of grey ashlar with honey-coloured sandstone ashlar dressings, featuring a base course, an eaves band, slightly projecting timber eaves, and a projecting cornice at the impost level.

On the northwest elevation, there are four symmetrical depressed carriage arches that have been infilled with modern garage doors. A pedestrian arch connects the former carriage block to the northeast bungalow. The roof is modern, covered with brown pantiles and finished with clay semi-circular coping.
