Description
Late 19th century. 4-storey 5-bay palazzo street front to former bakery. Bull-faced cream ashlar with polished dressings.
Left bay with massive roll-moulded round-headed doorframe at ground, filled-in with 2 modern doors; round-headed window above. To right, 2-storey arcade with roll-moulded architraves, sunken panel aprons dividing floors; replacement windows and doors to all but left bay at ground (with shadow of LYON?S still visible above). Moulded cill course to 2rd floor reads as 1st floor cornice; bipartite windows to all bays of upper floors, chamfered arrises. Cornice with crested parapet, moulded ashlar coping.
Timber tilt and swing casement windows.
