Description
55-57 Glaisnock Street is a late 19th century, two-storey, three-bay commercial building. The upper floor features cream ashlar, while the left gable is harled, and the roof is slate.
The front elevation has a modern ground floor with a corniced fascia. The first floor center has a tripartite window with moulded mullions and jambs, and there is a corbelled balustraded parapet adorned with large crenellated angle turrets. The flanking bays include keystoned, moulded depressed arch panels and crowstepped gables that have glazed ventilator slits. The left return gable is blank.
The rear elevation and interior have not been seen.
