Description
17 Glaisnock Street in Cumnock is an 18th-century building that has been altered. It consists of two parallel-roofed vernacular structures that are two stories high. The front line of the west gables is stepped, and there is a porch located in the angle, which now has an asbestos roof. The northern building is made of white-washed rubble with painted margins, and its northwest angle is splayed and corbelled to form a square at the first chimneyhead, which has been demolished. The southern building is finished with stucco, and both buildings have slated roofs.
