Description

Early 20th century; refurbished circa 1995. 3-storey on raised basement and mansard attic office on corner site, with canted 5-storey tower at corner. Coursed bull-faced cream sandstone ashlar with polished red sandstone dressings. Ashlar tower with plain door, oval oculi at ground, cill courses and pavilion roof with weathervane finial. 4-bay Thistle Street elevation with base course incorporating basement windows, corniced dormers with diminutive alternating pediments. Irregular 2-bay return elevation. Dressed rubble 5-bay rear elevation with garages inserted to basement, plain dormers.

Timber sash and case 8-pane windows, 3-pane at ground. Ashlar coped skews; grey slates; ashlar stacks.

INTERIOR: refurbished open plan offices.
