Description

Mid 19th century. Single storey, 5-bay, symmetrical, rectangular-plan cottage. Grey-painted harl with painted sandstone margins and dressings; quoin strips.

S ELEVATION: 3-bay main cottage with lower pavilion-type bays to right and left. Deep-set door at centre, boarded with 2-pane fanlight; flanking windows; half-piended dormers; lower outer right and left bays slightly recessed, windows.

12-lying-pane sash and case windows; plate glass casements for dormers. Grey slate roof, rooflight at centre; half-piended pavilions. Corniced sandstone apex stacks.

BOUNDARY WALL: low rubble wall with semi-circular coping.
