39 Marine Road, Port Bannatyne

39 Marine Road in Port Bannatyne is a mid-19th century, symmetrical, two-storey house with an attic and three bays, which is part of a terrace and has been subdivided. The exterior is made of harl-pointed random rubble sandstone with raised, painted margins. It features a raised base course and a lintel course beneath moulded eaves. The house has narrow strip quoins and long and short rubble surrounds around the openings, with projecting cills and chamfered reveals at the entrance.

On the northwest elevation facing the main street, there is a replacement timber door centered at the ground level, topped by a plate-glass fanlight. Above, there is a single window aligned at the first floor. There are single windows at both floors in the outer left and right bays, and three-light canted dormers above. The windows are 2-pane timber sash and case. The roof is covered with graded grey slate, featuring a raised stone skew to the northeast and replacement rainwater goods. The northeast side has a coped, rendered apex stack with various circular cans.

The interior was not seen in 1996.
