Description

Kerrylamont Farm features outbuildings and a farmhouse dated 1777, with later additions. The farmhouse is a symmetrical, two-storey, three-bay structure in a plain classical style, with a single-storey and attic, and a single-bay addition on the right. There is also a pitched single-storey, single-bay addition to the outer right and various single-storey additions at the rear. A circular-plan former dairy is linked to the northwest, along with several outbuildings beyond and at the rear.

The farmhouse is finished in whitewashed harl, with flush, painted surrounds to the openings. The northeast entrance elevation of the farmhouse features a replacement part-glazed door at the center, flanked by single windows, and is regularly fenestrated at the first floor. There is a single window at ground level in the additional bay to the right, with a corresponding window breaking the eaves above, and another window at ground level in the outer right bay. The southwest rear elevation includes a single window at ground level in the outer right bay of the original house, a single-bay lean-to addition at the center, a single window at ground level in a projecting wing to the left of center, and a part-glazed boarded timber door in the penultimate bay to the outer left (addition), along with a single window in the outer left bay.

The windows feature 12- and 16-pane timber sash and case glazing. The roof is covered with graded grey slate, and the year "1777" is depicted in ornamental slates at the rear of the original house. The structure has raised stone skews and rolled skewputts, with replacement rainwater goods and coped whitewashed apex stacks topped with circular cans.

The interior was not seen in 1996. The outbuildings include louvred openings set in a single-storey block to the northeast and segmental-arched, boarded timber openings at ground level in a pitched block to the northwest, along with various single-storey blocks to the west. The outbuildings predominantly have graded grey slate roofs, and their interiors were also not seen in 1996.
