Description

Late 19th century. Asymmetrical single storey, 3-bay Old English style red brick cottage with timber corbels beneath half-timbered gables. Lightly droved red sandstone ashlar window surrounds; chamfered reveals; chamfered cills; sandstone mullions.

W (ENTRANCE) ELEVATION: entrance porch centred at ground comprising 2-leaf boarded timber door off-set to left of centre; single window off-set to right. Slightly projecting tripartite window centred in gabled bay to outer left; slightly projecting tripartite window aligned beneath smaller gable to outer right.

Leaded casement glazing throughout. Red clay tile roof; terracotta ridge detailing. Corniced red sandstone apex stacks to N and S; circular terracotta cans.

INTERIOR: not seen 1996.
