Description

The former meat store at Mount Stuart House dates from the mid-19th century. It is a single-storey, single-bay structure with whitewashed harl and overhanging timber eaves. The openings are framed with red sandstone surrounds, some of which are also whitewashed, and feature latticed timber. Inside, there are timber beams and meat hooks. The roof is a graded grey slate with a piended design.
