14,16,18 New Wynd, Montrose

14, 16, 18 New Wynd in Montrose is a two-storey, four-bay tenement building, dated 1882. It is constructed from sandstone ashlar and features a base course, a cornice above the ground floor, a cill band course on the first floor, and an eave cornice.

On the northern (principal) elevation, the ground floor is painted and consists of five bays. There is a two-leaf panelled door offset to the left, with a window to the right. Timber-mullioned bipartite windows flank part of the shop front, and there is a panelled door to the right. The first floor has four symmetrical windows with raised margins, and a plaque in the center inscribed "Lodge No 15, 1882, Kilwinning." The building features pilaster quoins.

The western elevation adjoins 10/12 New Wynd, while the eastern elevation adjoins 20/22 New Wynd. The first-floor windows are timber sash and case, with plate glass glazing. The roof is covered with grey slate. The interior was not seen in 1997.
