Description
30 and 32 New Wynd is an 18th-century, three-storey, three-bay tenement building. The front is constructed of squared and snecked sandstone, while the rear is made of rubble stone.
On the north (principal) elevation, there is a door in the center, a window to the right, and a door with an offset window to the left. The first and second floors feature three symmetrical windows.
The west elevation is adjacent to 24-28 New Wynd, and the east elevation is next to 34-36 New Wynd. The south elevation has a small window to the left on the third floor with a brick surround, while the central window on the third floor is blocked, with a new opening nearby.
The building has timber sash and case windows with 12-pane glazing and a corrugated asbestos roof. The interior was not seen in 1997.
