Description

Earlier 19th century. 2-storey and attic, 4-bay tenement with shop at ground (part), painted render, base course, plain margins.

N (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: shopfront to right at ground, central deep-set doorway, flanking plate glass windows, original entrance to left, single step to door, 2 windows to left, turn leaf doors at pavement level over basement entrance, 4 windows at 1st, 2 piended dormers breaking eaves to left and right.

W ELEVATION: adjoining 8 New Wynd.

E ELEVATION: adjoining 14-18 New Wynd.

Timber sash and case windows with 4-pane glazing. Grey slate roof; brick gablehead stacks to E and W.

INTERIOR: not seen 1997.
