Description

Early 18th century with later alterations. 3-storey rectangular-plan house. Rubble stone, part harled. Plain margins.

W ELEVATION : gable end adjoining 95 High Street, 1 bay to right with pend at ground, steps to entrance at 1st floor, cast-iron railings, partly shared with No 97 " The Town House" (of the Erskines of Dun), window at 2nd floor above.

E ELEVATION: 2-bay gable end, harled, 3 windows at ground, pend to left, stone mullioned bipartite to right at 1st, 2 small windows inset in gablehead.

S ELEVATION: adjoining No97 "The Town House", door and window at ground in pend.

N ELEVATION: 2 bays to right, remainder blank rubble.

Variety of timber sash and case windows, 12-pane and plate glass. Grey slate; brick gablehead stacks to W and E, later brick stack breaking eaves to N; stone skews to E.

INTERIOR: not seen 1997.
