Description

Earlier 19th century, 3-storey tenement with shops on ground

floor. 4 windows wide on both fronts.

Street frontage ashlar, rear rubble. Slate roof, piended

at Kilwinning Street end, wide central end stack. First floor

band course and cill string course, cornice and blocking course.

Modern shop fronts extend up to and partially over band course.

Flat roofed turnpike stair tower at 2nd bay from right on rear elevation. Rear windows 6 pane sash, others reglazed single

pane sash.
