Description
69 High Street in Musselburgh is a building dating from around 1840. It has two storeys and features shops on the ground floor that have been restored. The facade consists of three to five bays and is topped with a ridge slate roof. The exterior is made of droved ashlar stone, with a band course at the first floor and a sting course at the cills of the first-floor windows. The shopfronts at No 75 include a curved glass angle, while No 65 retains its original narrower window and door openings, which are also reflected in the restoration of Nos 69-71. Additionally, there is an original rectangular fanlight above the pend. All windows are fitted with 6-pane sashes.
