Description

Early 19th century. Single storey, rectangular plan, 3-bay semi- detached cottages.

Rubble masonry, harled to S, stone slate roof.

S ELEVATION: W cottage, wide 3-bay; central door, flanking near symmetrical 2-pane sash and case windows, wallhead lintels. Brick stack at W gable, stone corniced stack at E mutual gable with thackstane at N. Rubble addition at W, open to S with corrugated-iron piend roof.

E COTTAGE: narrower, similar central door but with enlarged windows with metal frames, coped stack at E gable with thackstane N and S.

N ELEVATION: rubble scullery projection with slate cat-slide roof: single and blocked windows to W cottage.

INTERIOR: exposed beams in E cottage, 1 late 19th century chimneypiece and grate, 2 similar in W cottage.

Well in garden to S with rubble lining and modern hand pump.
