Cunmont Cottages West, Drumsturdy Road

Cunmont Cottages West, located on Drumsturdy Road, are early 19th century, single-storey, rectangular plan, semi-detached cottages with three bays. The structure features rubble masonry, harled on the south side, and has a stone slate roof.

On the southeast elevation, the western cottage is wide with a central door and near-symmetrical flanking two-pane sash and case windows, all with wallhead lintels. There is a brick stack at the western gable and a stone corniced stack at the eastern mutual gable, which has a thackstane to the north. An additional rubble structure is present on the west, open to the south and topped with a corrugated-iron piend roof.

The eastern cottage is narrower and has a similar central door, but features enlarged windows with metal frames. It has a coped stack at the eastern gable with thackstanes to the north and south.

The northern elevation includes a rubble scullery projection with a slate cat-slide roof, featuring single and blocked windows on the western cottage.

Inside, the eastern cottage has exposed beams and one late 19th century chimneypiece and grate, while the western cottage contains two similar chimneypieces and grates. Additionally, there is a well in the garden to the south, lined with rubble and equipped with a modern hand pump.
