Description

Pitairlie Bridge is a large structure built in 1784, featuring a single semi-circular arch that stands 55 feet high. The bridge is constructed of rubble and has a corbelled parapet that widens at the approaches to create niched buttresses. Currently, the bridge is disused, and the arch has been partially infilled.
