Description

The Panmure Testimonial is an octagonal pedestal built in 1839, designed by architect John Henderson. It is flanked by arched buttresses and topped with a circular fluted column. Above the capital of the column, there is a balustrade that leads to a stone urn. This structure stands 105 feet high and serves as a prominent landmark.
