Description
The Gardens at Kingennie House is a single-storey, L-plan cottage built around 1900 in the Arts and Crafts style, designed by Thomas M Cappon. The building features a combination of brick and harl with a slate roof. It has lying-pane sash and case windows throughout.
The east elevation has three bays, including an integral verandah on the left, a small pyramidal bay at the center with a small bipartite window, a door located in the re-entrant, and a larger piended bay on the right with a tripartite window.
The south elevation features a bipartite window on the left, a larger tripartite window in the center, and a cat-slide roof over the integral verandah on the right.
The west elevation includes a bipartite window, a single window, and a door with a transom, while the north elevation is blank.
