Description
Gardener's Cottage, located in Errol Park, is a single-storey, three-bay gabled cottage built in the late 19th century. It features polychrome brick with stone cills and mullions.
The entrance elevation has a central bay with steps leading up to an open porch that has a timber pediment, a panelled timber door, and a plate glass fanlight. To the right, there is an advanced gabled bay with a slate-roofed triangular bipartite window, and another bipartite window is located in the left bay.
On the north elevation, there is a bipartite window in the gabled bay to the right, and a prominent shouldered stack to the left. The west elevation features a window to the right and a stack to the left, along with a small later bay that has a modern window to the right.
The south elevation displays a stepped bay with two low piended bays projecting from the higher gables. The bay on the right contains two windows, while the left bay has a single window.
The cottage has a 4-pane glazing pattern in its timber sash and case windows, grey slate roofing, and coped polychrome brick stacks topped with polygonal cans. The eaves are overhanging and feature plain bargeboarding along with decorative timber braces.
