Description
16 Fife Street in Banff is an early 19th-century, two-storey, three-bay house with a wide spacing between the bays. It faces Fife Street and has a two-storey return gable over a raised basement that extends to Clunie Street. The exterior is harled with painted ashlar margins. The house features a regular frontage with a central door and an additional doorway in the raised basement at 21 Clunie Street. The windows are primarily 12-pane timber sash and case, except for the modern plate glass glazing found at 21 Clunie Street. The building has end and rear wallhead coped stacks and a slate roof.
