Description
64 Clyde Street in Invergordon is an earlier 19th century house that is single storey with an attic and features three bays. It has entrances on both the north side facing Clyde Street and the south side facing Shore Street. The building is constructed from coursed tooled rubble, with a random rubble west gable and ashlar dressings. Each elevation has a central door, and there are paired windows on the east gable, along with eaves bands. The house has two original piended dormers on the Clyde Street side and two later 19th century canted dormers on the Shore Street side. It features 12-pane glazing throughout and has corniced end stacks, topped with a slate roof. Additionally, there is a low coped rubble retaining wall with decorative spearhead cast-iron railings.
