Town Hall, High Street, Invergordon

The Town Hall in High Street, Invergordon, was designed by W.C. Joass in 1871, with additions and alterations made by Alexander Ross and Son in 1934. This building showcases an Italianate style and features a two-storey, three-bay facade. The central bay is slightly advanced and includes a pediment, with a round-headed entrance that has a keystone and pilasters, a fanlight, and a panelled double-leaf door. This entrance is connected by a moulded string course to the flanking windows, which have similar detailing, corniced cills, and panelled aprons. Above the centre door is a segmental-headed pediment.

On the first floor, there is a round-headed keystoned tripartite window in the centre, flanked by shell-headed windows. The building is topped with a dentilled and moulded eaves cornice. Additionally, there is a relief carving of Neptune holding a cornucopia in the pediment, and the blocking course features decorative urns at the ends and center.
