Description

Dated 1745. 2-storey and attic, 3-bay house with irregular ground floor. Harled, painted margins. Off-centre entrance (now shop window) with chamfered jambs and bolection moulded lintel; later narrow doorway extreme left; mid 19th century narrow 3-bay shop front right. Regular lst floor windows with 12-pane timber sash and case glazing; small centre gabled dormer with dated gable, also with 12-pane glazing; mid

19th century canted wallhead dormers in outer bays. End chimney stacks with deep roll moulded copes; flat skews with moulded run-off skewputts; slate roof; sandstone ridge.

INTERIOR: later entrance in extreme left bay leads through former kitchen to rear wing and entry to No 15. Wide segmental-headed mural hearth survives in modern passage.
