Description

Mid 18th century. 2-storey and attic, 5-bay house with later shops in outer bays. Squared granite ashlar ground floor, harled above; red sandstone ashlar dressings, mostly painted. Wide centre door with broad moulded jambs, flanked by circa 1820 3-bay shop fronts, each with centre door and panelled aproned windows.

Regular lst floor windows with chamfered margins; 3 regularly spaced dormers break wallhead, these original to house but with later segmental heads. Plate glass timber sash and case glazing. Single corniced end stack; slate roof; stone ridge; flat skews with moulded run-off skewputts.
