Description

This is a mid-18th century house, now used as a shop. It is constructed of painted ashlar with a steeply pitched slate roof and two brick end stacks, the one on the left supported by a stone base. The building is two storeys high with an attic, and has a three-window front. The central entrance has a recessed doorway with panelled reveals and a four-panelled door, set beneath a keystoned head. A window opening to the left also features a keystoned head and a 20th-century window. A 20th-century extension obscures the ground floor to the right. The first floor has three sash windows with four panes of glazing, each with a keystoned head. There is a moulded stone eaves cornice and a parapet. Two gabled roof dormers are visible. The interior has not been inspected.
