Description
This building, located at 24 and 26 Low Street and 55 Bridge Street in Banff, was constructed in 1868. It is a corner block with two storeys and an attic, featuring three bays facing Low Street and two bays facing Bridge Street, along with additional pend bays on each street front. The structure is made of dark tooled local whinstone with tooled ashlar dressings. It has a slightly recessed curved corner bay with a first-floor window beneath a gablet, which includes a consoled datestone and a harled and heightened apex stack. There are two wallhead gabled dormers on each street front, and the windows are timber sash and case with four-pane glazing. The building has end stacks and a slate roof.
