20 Low Street in Banff is a house built around 1800, featuring two storeys and an attic with three bays. The ground floor has modern shopfronts, while the building is constructed from mixed striated squared tooled rubble with painted tooled and polished ashlar dressings and channelled quoins. The original design of the ground floor likely included an alternating pattern of windows and doors, with the doorway to No 20 showcasing an early 19th-century fanlight. The first floor has regular window arrangements and three dormers, which were remodelled and raised in the late 19th century, breaking the wallhead. All windows have 12-pane glazing in timber sash and case style. The channelled quoins extend to the level of the bandcourse, which separates the first and attic levels. The building features a deep moulded wallhead cornice, corniced end stacks, run-off skewputts, and a slate roof.
