Description
The Elms is a late 18th century, two-storey, three-bay house located at 12 South High Street in Portsoy. The exterior is harled with painted ashlar margins. The central door is obscured by a later timber gabled porch that features a side entrance and a front window. The house has renewed 12-pane glazing made of PVC.
It has end chimney stacks and flat skews with run-off skewputts, topped by a slate roof with a sandstone ridge. At the rear, there is a modern kitchen extension with a flat roof.
Surrounding the property are rubble walls that enclose the garden.
