Description

Dated 1892 but probably incorporating earlier work. 2-storey range turning corner of Seafield Street and South High Street. Harled with tooled ashlar margins. Bowed angle bay; 4 bays to Seafield Street (1 bay for shop, 3 bays to house, 3 Seafield Street) and 3 bays to South High Street. Centre entrance to shop (no 1) flanked by shop windows; enlarged modern window to right fronting Seafield Street. No 3 Seafield Street with centre door, flanking windows. Ball finialled and pedimented dormers break wallhead in each bay, shaped pediment with large finial with datestone centres angle bay. Modern glazing to shop windows; 2-pane timber sash and case glazing elsewhere. Coped ridge and end stacks; slate roof.
