Description
15 Hill Street in Portsoy is an earlier 19th-century, two-storey, three-bay house that features a later porch. The building is constructed from galleted rubble with tooled rubble dressings and has rendered margins, while the porch is harled. The central entrance is concealed by a rectangular porch that has a panelled door flanked by sidelights and side windows. At the top of the porch, there is decorative cast-iron brattishing. The house has four-pane timber sash and case windows, and it is topped with a Welsh slate roof and coped end stacks. A low coped harled front wall separates the house from the street, which is adorned with modern decorative iron railings.
