Description
Garden House at Mounie Castle dates back to 1694. It has a small square plan and consists of two stories with a dormerless attic. The building features chamfered openings and has a three-window arrangement with a centrally located door on the first floor. The roof has straight skews and skewputts, and there are large coped chimneys. A later date, IG 1735, is incised on the building. It was restored by R.S. Lorimer in 1898.
