Description

75, 77, and 79 Duff Street in Macduff are a pair of two-storey houses with a dormerless attic, built around 1800. The houses have a modern shop front at No. 75 and feature a lower two-storey, three-bay return wing facing High Street. They are constructed from tooled dark whinstone rubble, with contrasting painted margins. The first floor has regular fenestration with 2-pane glazing. There is a three-bay return basement on the High Street side, which includes a segmental-headed pend entrance. The houses have moulded copes on the end stacks and a slate roof.
