10 High Shore, Macduff

10 High Shore in Macduff is a small, single-storey building dated 1837, designed in the style of William Robertson from Elgin. It features a narrow, three-bay classical street front with an ashlar facade and a rubble rear. The central entrance is set in a shallow recess and is topped by a semi-circular tympanum that is dated. There are recessed windows on either side of the entrance. A band course marks a dummy attic storey, which has a central semi-circular tympanum and is flanked by shallow rectangular dummy attic windows. The building is topped with a corniced pediment that has blocked bases at the ends and apex, which may have once held ball finials or urns. The flanks are made of rubble and have blocked windows, while there is a brick stack at one end and a slate roof.
