Description

Rosedale and Walled Garden is a house located at 29 Crook O' Ness Street in Macduff, built around 1820. It is a two-storey and attic structure featuring a wide three-bay design and a four-window rear elevation facing West Skene Street. The front is rendered and lined to resemble ashlar, with tooled and raised self-colour margins, while the flanks are harled with contrasting painted margins. The house has a central entrance and features two-pane glazing at both the front and rear. There are two gabled dormers, dating from around 1900, which have multi-pane glazing. The end and central rear wallhead stacks are topped with moulded copes, and the roof is slate with roof lights.

The walled garden consists of rubble walls that enclose the front garden to the southwest, with a flat arched entrance from Gellymill Street.
